The Process

A few flowers begin to define the form of the mandala that will emerge. Intuition allows our hands to follow the movement of our heart.

The heart of this mandala is initiated with blue as if to invoke the presence of the sky. This centre divides itself into four, as if to flow to the horizon in all directions to transmit its energies.

The colours of the sky come once again to meet in this mandala. This time the centre enlarges and radiates while transforming itself into various colours. The concentric circles create the impression of a spiral movement and give off a soothing, peaceful energy.

This mandala builds on the three-part form of the mandala of the previous day, which fills itself with a flow of many different flowers.

Each time, the form of the mandala is spontaneous. Intuition guides the hands that participate in a ballet of colour and form and fragrance.

In this way, the flower mandalas are born, a creation of unity in diversity, and an expression of our gratitude for all that Mother Nature is giving to us so generously and abundantly.
